Network Design and Implementation
ShadowLight Technologies has designed and implemented networks ranging from small business installations for a few users up to large, multi-campus networks spanning continental geographies, providing secure connections for thousands of users. The application of this knowledge and experience will ensure that you have the right solution for your needs.
When evaluating your networking needs, we touch on a number of topics:
Internet Access
Is company-wide internet access currently in place and being used effectively? Is the current physical Internet connection right-sized for the company; will DSL or a cable modem provide adequate connectivity as opposed to a more expensive T1 or leased line? Can services currently hosted within the company be moved to an external facility, thereby lowering the minimum connectivity threshold?
Remote Access
Can employees easily access corporate facilities from home or when they are on the road? Is the current Remote Access Solution secure? What services are most used by remote access employees and are there simpler, more secure ways to provide such services?
Virtual Private Network
Does your company have multiple locations? Do these locations have a simple method to communicate securely? Are technology services unnecessarily replicated at different sites? Are the connections to each location right-sized?
This list is by no means comprehensive, as each situation is different. It does, however, provide a glimpse of the issues we tackle when evaluating a company's networking needs.
Our intent is to provide guidance on what solutions are both available and optimal. We will help you prioritize the available options to render a clear path on which options provide the best fit for your needs. Our belief is that by working together, step-by-step, we can pare down what may seem like overwhelming options, into a tractable list to help you decide what solution is best for your company.
